Rent Collection & Court Services
Rent Collection is a major focal point for us here at Computex. For our landlords, our walk-in center provides the necessary accommodations for tenants to make payments, sign court settlement agreements, and resolve any inquires regarding their accounts. Computex is also located half a block from the Orange, New Jersey, Post Office, where we pick up mail twice a day to help us efficiently and effectively manage the incoming rental payments which we receive. Other than through the mail, or here at our walk-in center, Computex also provides tenants with the convenience of online payment. New! This service will not only help tenants make timely payments and avoid late fees, it will also solely benefit our clients for a faster payment option.
Our clients can also keep track of activity regarding their account by logging into our Property Management Software, and at any time, request daily collection reports via e-mail or fax. In addition, any client who would like to schedule a meeting with one of our associates regarding their account or any general inquires, can do so at anytime.
Our Court Services which we provide every day help to simplify the entire process for our clients. Our team works to a great extent for each of our clients throughout every step of the court process:
- We review tenant arrears,
- Prepare summons and complaints for Disposes filing for attorney review,
- We have an economy of scale which allows for lower legal costs,
- We represent bookkeeping records in court, saving landlords from attending any cases,
- We negotiate settlements when possible,
- We prepare Certifications for warrants for removal,
- We also follow up with the constable regarding orderly and timely evictions.
